I don't cocoon, but I do slow down and enjoy the world around me. We've already taken a couple trips up to the mountains. So beautiful! After spring morphs into summer and the breeze rustles green leaves, it feels wonderful to get out my flip flops and shorts. But by August, I'm ready to start the cycle all over again.

Pat
Critter AlleyPat Wahlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01138619912065680084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4145825647751945760.post-13022205619988069172015-11-10T12:14:11.202-06:002015-11-10T12:14:11.202-06:00Love the pictures! Sleep is sweet and it's hard to resist it.

Winter is not a favorite season of mine and it worries me that winters, which used to be very mild where I live, are becoming more and more agressive. That's not a good sign. Heavy storms and rain bring about power outage, floods, collapsing of trees, car accidents, and human casualties. It's especially hard for people who reside in low-placed houses and near bodies of water. Are you enjoying all the time there is to think all your various thoughts? I agree with you about not rushing your poem, story, or book. If I would've finished mine any sooner, it would've been crap! LOL. Have a wonderful week! Already one episode of hoarfrost along the roadside.

I like that snug, warm feeling of gazing out the front window at an expanse of snow, knowing that I'm not going anywhere for a few days.
