Can anyone tell me HOW to add this photo to my side bar? I removed the other picture, and now I cannot repost. I have followed all instructions, but when I go to layout and design, the box where I would add a gadget has a border of broken lines, (dot-to-dot) and when I try to load the photo I get an exclamation point inside a spinning circle. I am getting very frustrated after three days of trying to no avail. Thank you to anyone who can offer a suggestion.
This is a super, super picture, Linda!!! Sorry, I am not help with Blogger. I never change anything as I fear messing it up. I have found that waiting helps...or shutting down whole computer and bringing back up....the usual strange fixes. Have you looked for help on the discussion boards?

ReplyDeleteLinda--I've never encountered that problem. I add things all the time, and never have a problem, so I can't help you with the dotted line and the spinning circle/exclamation mark.
ReplyDeleteIt IS a stunning photo. I'm sure someone more tech-savvy than me (like a three-year old kid) will be able to assist you.

ReplyDeleteI will think about your problem as I have had many problems like that and it has rectified itself.
Shutting down and back on. If I can explain it to you. Then I will be back.
If your picture is too large. It will go around and around. Go back in and down size your picture. These formats are very finicky.
ReplyDeleteI belong to a garden site. I had that happen to me. My picture was too large. Over at my site they have a sizer . That is one solution.

ReplyDeleteIt sounds to me like you are doing everything right. I agree with the suggestions above about restarting everything. You might want to clear your cache of everything too and see if that helps. A lot of times if you wait a few days and then try again, Blogger gets straightened out and works right. It's a lovely picture. I hope you can get things to work for you.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! I am totally unhelpful on matters of this nature, however. But I can empathize with your frustration! My blog posts no longer post links, as they used to do, in my posts. Dunno why.
ReplyDeleteSo I am using my usual strategy of doing nothing about it and waiting to see if it fixes itself. That's how I "fix" technological issues, because understanding them is not in my wheelhouse of strengths. :/
