I have been remiss all week about posting on my blog.
I have been stressed because I haven't been posting on my blog.
I have been so busy I haven't had time to post on my blog.
I have been adjusting to a new living situation, family staying for a while, computer/kitchen sharing.
I have put in 12 hour days at school with early conferences, field trips, and evening programs.
I am on overload.
Finally had time this morning to browse the internet. I saw an advertisement for a mini (spoon size ) launcher that clips to the desk. A stress reliever? In whose direction would you launch a wad of paper?
Years ago we toured Ben and Jerry's ice cream plant when the two benevolent hippies actually owned it. We sampled 8 scoops of ice cream. Talk about overload.
Then we went to Vermont Teddy Bear Company Factory and watched the seamstresses at work. No matter how much you love Teddy bears, there's only so much time you can invest in sewing body parts together before you go bonkers. Every fifteen minutes a bell would ring and the seamstresses would grab their small water guns and empty them at coworkers. Oh the laughter of both the tourists and employees.
Desk launcher, UZI size water gun, whatever it takes to lessen the stress. Give me a few more days, something fun or funny is bound to happen, and I will share it with you.

I've been on overdrive all month, too, Linda. And I have a book launch to plan in the mix. Yikes! You have my empathy. Hang in there, woman. You're a rock!
Deep breaths. It will come-
Yikers, Linda. You do have a lot on your plate.
Hope the live-in situation doesn't last too long. I know it can get on your nerves after awhile.
Rainy day here. Nice to see your post. Susan
I think it is time for a change, like for your summer hiatus from school to happen! I hope you can hang on until then. I do know your feeling...lots of stuff here and I have been like a tire in mud...spinning, spinning and getting nowhere!!!!
A grade in an unnamed school had a picnic today, and ended it with launching water balloons at them, using a water balloon launcher (like a big slingshot). The kids had a blast, and so did the teachers.
(The kids who play in class all the time stayed at school and did not get to come to the park. At least that's what I heard from a friend of a friend of a friend.)
Hang in there... and oh, your granddaughter is adorable in the previous post! What a cutie!
Wow Linda! I just thought of a line from a TV show, or movie, or speech, or..I don't remember what...But Ron and I use it all the time. I think it fits perfectly for your present situation: "A lesser woman would be in the hospital!"
(Actually, it was for a man, but woman also fits extraordinarily well!) Wishing you peaceful times ahead...Remember: BREATHE
So many activities to attend to as the school year winds down! I hope you get your desk launcher, and that it doesn't fall into the wrong hands.
Ha -- I need to pick up a couple of those water pistols for home. :)
Discovered your blog through a friend's (WritingStraightFromTheHeart)...and love it! Wish I lived close enough to join your writers' group. Also, please enter me in your book giveaway. Thanks, Vickie Newman [VickieNewmanBooks@gmail.com]
