Let your light shine!

I have so much to be thankful for, especially being part of four generations. See the sunlight shining on my precious five and half month old little Liam? He has such a wonderful personality.

As I looked at Liam's perfectly formed little baby hands and watched him put them in his mouth to teethe, to make speech sounds, to self-soothe; to grab his feet, my cheeks, my nose, and his favorite book... I gazed at those miniature hands and I wondered.

How will he use them in the future? To hug, cuddle, reach out to help someone, reach for the stars? I know he will make a difference in this world. He is already so smart, and I know, I absolutely KNOW, this precious little baby boy is destined for greatness.

I've often gazed at babies, trying to imagine how they'll look in another 10, 20 or even 30 years ...
But their hands? What a wonderful perspective, Linda!
Something I never considered before ... now I'll never forget!

Yours is a beautiful family!

Linda,
I'm sure you are right about Liam. Look! He's already reading!

My sister used to deliberately walk around with her babies facing the sunlight. She said it made them close their eyes and take a nap when they were fighting it.

Liam is a doll. I think Ashley needs to become a stage mother and put him in commercials. He's got lots of personality. (And Ashley and your daughter really and truly look like sisters.)

With so much love, I can't see how he could be meant for anything else. I have to admit, though, that I wish I'd thought of Val's sister's trick when my son had colic.

I love it when you post his pic on FB, Linda. Those posts are always a bright spot. There is no way to look at Liam's face and not smile. He's lifted my spirits more than once, just by being so sweet and adorable.

Hi Linda....That little guy is so adorable. With a Grammie like you behind him, he is, indeed, destined for greatness. He is such a lucky little fellow to have so much love in his life. Susan

We are all destined for greatness some full fill it some don't but we all have such hopes and dreams for the babies in our life, we should leave the world in the best possible way so they can live a wonderful life.
