Surely you have been there. The nine to five grind ends up stretching hours longer, robbing you of your home life, suffocating the creativity out of you, draining your energy. You draw a line in the sand. One footstep across it leads to another. Your creative juices and bright writing ideas propel you forward. Your imagination and the thought of all of the possibilities of living your dream, achieving success drives you to finally chuck it all!
My friend, Jean, a former St. Louis news anchor, journalist, (too many hats to name) has had enough of the corporate tug on her life. She is about to embark on something I can only imagine. Would YOU do it? With your dog as your travelling companion? Quit your job? Hope for the best, and hit the road? I wish her the best.
Will you please read about her, listen to her minute long video, and then pass on her blog LINK to others? Thank you so much. Click here
I know that I will be vicariously riding shotgun with Jean. Won't you come along? All aboard.

Linda--One, aren't you finished with school for a while? I finished before you, but if I'm not mistaken, while I got back in early August, you'll still be luxuriating in summer slothdom.
Two, I watched your friend's video, subscribed to her RSS (we'll see if I can manage to find it) and plan on reading her posts. She's phenomenal and so brave. John Steinbeck and Charley--watch out!
Hi Linda! Thanks for letting me know about your friend. What a great adventure. If you want to give her my email address, tell her I'd be happy to interview her on my blog!
I admire her spunk and hope she has a successful trip.
Sounds good to me, Linda. Yes, I would do it.
Love your new summertime photo, too. Susan
I think it sounds great, and what an adventure she will have. Her blog will be very interesting to read.
I read quite a bit of her blog- I LOVE IT!!! Tried to leave a comment unsuccessfully, I dunno if its my computer or the program, but I will definitely be riding shotgun vicariously with my Koda dog in the back. What a talented, writer. Her candor is so refreshing! Thanks for the link.
Yes! I'm on my way to come along. Yeah!
I'm aboard and wish her luck.
I'm so envious, but I wish her luck!
