Straddling a porcelain throne

A long time ago, before George and Morgan towered over me, they had gotten into the shaving cream.  When they heard Mama coming, Morgan ran to wash off. It was a natural reaction for a toddler.

It was not natural this morning at dawn to see my husband straddling his toilet in the wrong direction. Think bareback riding backwards. I thought he had spritzed the floor and decided to save himself from my wrath.

"Why are you peeing sitting down AND backwards? Miss your aim? Need a Cheerio target?"

"Ahem," he looked me in the eye. "I am fixing the tank on my toilet. The chain came off."

I really yanked his chain!

Great pic!

That is the position that Seth first used when potty training. He felt more secure sitting facing the tank.

Maybe he's just prepping for that day when the chain comes off!

Yea, be nice. You may need him to fix the chain on your toilet.

Nice blog post, and play on words

Wouldn't it be easier to keep the bathroom clean if our men would sit rather than stand?????

Yeah, hubbies are good for fixing toilets so I'd be careful about pi**ing him off. ;-)

ha ha ha ha ha You are too funny, Linda. Oh! Was reading a copy of a Chicken Soup for Gardeners last night. Read a story and when I finished it I thought, "That was a lovely story." Then I nearly dropped the book on the floor. The author? YOU! Isn't that a RIOT? It was great. Loved it...the Golden Girls. Susan

Haha! Mister was working on a toilet once and was in the same position.
Of course, he was fully dressed, which was good, as I DID snap a picture!

After hearing your story last night, if I were Bill, I would be afraid. I'd be VERY afraid. ;)

He'd better not cross you, or else...

Love that picture! I have a distinct memory of being a toddler and realizing someone had been thoughtful enough to put a nice, refilling bowl of water at exactly my height!

As long as there are toilets, kids, and husbands, I will never lack for material.

Let it not be said you cannot get a person's attention, Linda! I saw this picture on my blog roll and knew I had to read the post associated with it. Lol.

Funny story. You have a great sense of humor.

Blessings to you and yours.
