I am so excited to announce that my "chocolate" entry won first place at Pen and Prosper, Jennifer Brown Banks' BLOG. Every writer worth his or her chocolate knows that flavinoids induce good writing.
I've been a follower of this brilliant writer since I read her first article in a writer's magazine about breaking the rules. I knew then, that we were kindred spirits. Please visit her site and peruse the articles.
Writer's Inspiration
M&Ms three at a time ... colorful ellipses for my writer's mind.
Melted exclamation point on my tongue, a puddled Kiss.
Dark chocolate covered coconut, Mounds of happiness.
Chocolate, solidified or liquified, a writer's Bliss.

Chocolate and writing DO go hand in hand, don't they!
Thanks, Linda. You're as "sweet" as chocolate. :-)

Congratulations Linda! Very clever! :)
Love this! And now I have to go raid the Halloween stash. :)
Hi Linda...our chocolate entry was as sweet as milk chocolate and as fun as a chocolate chip cookie, fresh, soft and gooey from the oven.
Congratulations!
And thanks for all your visits and comments on my blog. Susan
YAY for you!
Congrats again! You rock!
Congratulations. I'm raising a box of Sno-Caps in toast, to clink together with your bag of M&Ms.
Congrats once again...great chocolate images!!
When I left for Kentucky, I left a sticky note out that that food poem entries were due Nov 15th. Now I can't find what my own note refered too! Know of any poetry contests with a food theme???
No wonder you won. So true! Congratulations!
Congrats, Linda! I'm off to check it out. Looking forward to it, since I always enjoy your writing.
Congratulations! I am not surprised in the least... and I love your chocolate images - wonderful! I, too, may sneak a piece of that halloween candy (I finally broke down and loaded up tonight at the grocery store)!
I am prediabetic and I told my husband the day after Halloween, "This candy has to go!" So we took it to our grands. They really don't need it but I couldn't tolerate one more day of temptation! :)
