I'm okay

Thank you one and all. Research proves it: not one spam message at all yesterday. I was overloaded day after day until I enabled the code sign in. Sorry for that.

I may have to do it too, Linda. Trying to beat out the Spammers but might lose the fight. Sure makes me mad...or defeated....one more way the "bad guys" affect our lives when we just want to live simply and quietly!

This is interesting! I haven't had any problem with spam comments in a long time.....and now that I've announced that, I'm sure things will change!

Hi Linda...

What the heck is the purpose of spam? I feel so "Duhhh."

I get tons and tons of span for free drugs such as Vicodin and, of all things, Viagra, etc.

My spam catcher is pretty good but I want to know WHY do people send this crap? WHAT IS THE PURPOSE?

Please enlighten your readers. Thanks. Susan

Fortunately I don't see to bothered witb spam. I do find that word verification a pain, because you can hardly read the numbers and I always have to have about 3 attempts.

So happy you're okay. Great photo of you, by the way.

I had to do it too - the spam was just too much.

I took care of the spam (I hope) by not allowing Anonymous commenters (my spammers don't have names) - I haven't had a single spam message since I checked that box.

I know - it's horrible, but it has to be done. I just wish they'd make the word verifications a little easier to read!

I wonder why you're having a problem? Blogger seems to catch most of my spam without a problem. In any event, I hope this fixes it for you!

Ughhhh. Not the dreaded captcha--I'm not sure why Blogger has SO many problems with spam. Wordpress catches all of 'em, as far as I can tell.

Oh! And super excited for you and your big day. Those heels are fabulous!!!
