On the way home from lunch today, I asked my honey to stop at a Goodwill store in the city, where I found this lovely spring wreath with silk greenery and gorgeous cabbage roses... for three dollars! I added the sweet little ceramic rabbit which makes me feel as happy as a real bunny in a field of clover.
Gazing at it with the door open, the sun shining, and the temperature a breezy 80 degrees, makes me grateful for the little things in my life. I really don't need a lot of expensive things to make me happy.
Tomorrow's weather is supposed to be as glorious as today's, and I am sure I will have more to share with you on Monday. I will post when it is raining and storming, but for now, I am enjoying this beautiful spring day.
Do you have a front door wreath, or is that just a Midwest thing?

It is a beautiful spring day, isn't it?
You got a steal on both your deals. Good job! It always thrills me to find a bargain.

You got some bargains!
No wreath here. My mom used to put one up at Christmas, made by my aunt and her son's wife, from real greenery trimmed off the trees at the Christmas tree farm Mom had part interest in with her brothers.
Linda--I have no wreath on my door, but perhaps I might try to find one, since yours looks so festive.
I agree you got good deals. Love that wreath!!!! And yes, the weather is a gift. All windows open yesterday and again this morning. Rain is coming but I can deal better with it after these days. I piddled on the deck as son came to mow for us. Handle on a piece of pottery broke and fell on my toe which is purple today. We are just one trip-up after another here!
Would have a wreath, but my door is not equipped for them... and those over the door hangers don't work. And scrolling through your posts - boy that Liam is such a cutie!
Your spring wreath is so pretty. We are having a beautiful spring weather day here today too.
