My honey is a big joker, and every single day we've been together he has made me laugh. Today he was at his desk on his lap top, and I was on the home computer. He started laughing so hard he couldn't talk and pointed to a cartoon on his screen.
An old man and woman sat on a porch swing. The man said to her, "Honey, your teeth look just like pearls in the moonlight."
She replied with a frown on her face, "Who is Pearl, and when were you with her in the moonlight?!"
Once my honey caught his breath and wiped the tears from his eyes, he said, "This is just like US."
I had to agree, and then we were both laughing hysterically.
It's been a fun ride with my big old guy. We've been together 26 years, and on Valentine's Day we will have been hitched 21 years. Something to be said for a relationship with humor as one of the foundation pillars.

What a funny story!
A good sense of humor is important to any relationship, and I can see why you and your honey have been together for so long. Happy anniversary--and hoping you will have many more.
Happy Feb 14 to you! Yes, humor is important. A friend was here this afternoon and we were discussing laughing...and how we could put lots of it back into our lives. Sounds like you have that covered!
Yup, humor can get you over the humps and bumps like nothing else. Love this!
A relationship without humor is, well, just no fun at all. Hope you and your sweetie have a very happy anniversary!

Looks fade, other things droop or don't work like they used to... but humor never loses its sparkle...
Happy Anniversary, Linda! I remembered that yours and ours are just days apart. You and Bill are another success story for 2nd marriages. According to an article in a 2013 Woman's Day magazine "[...]Roughly 67% to 80% of second marriages end in divorce [...]"
I can understand that and believe a LOT of that has to do with "step" kids, and "ex" spouses! I'm really happy you two laugh and have so much fun. That's a big key to success!
Awwwww, Happy Anniversary to a super couple. Both of you must have made each other laugh.
Now go tell Bill how you like his Pearls! Susan
Well, thank goodness he wasn't laying in bed shining that LED flashlight on his head again!
Happy Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary. Agree that humor gets you through when nothing else can.
In sickness and in health, never mind the rest. . .
A sense of humor is a wonderful bond. It helps soften out the edges and brings camaraderie.
Happy Anniversary and nothing like laughing to keep things lively!
