Update

Thank you so much for your good thoughts, and prayers for my husband who had pneumonia. Three nights in the hospital, and he's inching his way towards the door. He got his appetite back and ordered steak last night. I know he's on the mend.

Hopefully he will get a good oxygen reading and positive blood test results and will be released to come home. It's just a wait and see day, but he looks and feels so much better. Antibiotic infusions are miraculous.

This was a wake up call. We are getting off the fast food track and on the healthy eating fast track. We have decided we LOVE fresh asparagus.

Must go to school now...one more week. I will be back, so don't go away.

Thanks for taking the time to report in, Linda. So much worry and heartache it is hard to keep it all in our hearts! Glad your hubby is getting better.

Yay!

Try grilling that fresh asparagus with some olive oil and a dust of sea salt. :-)

Go glad to hear he's on the mend. I hope he will be able to go home soon. Good luck with the last few days of school.

So happy to hear your good news. Nothing like a health scare to make you re-think habits. I've been pure as the driven snow since I was sick a few weeks ago. Now if I can just keep the good mojo going...

That was a good news post, Linda. You are right----fast food is convenient but very unhealthy.
So glad Bill is doing so much better. HOPE he was able to come home today. Susan p.s. Glad you will be "free" soon, too! For the summer anyway!

So happy to hear your hubby is recuperating. That's a great idea to focus on eating well. I'm making a recipe book for my son to share some of my favorite healthy (mostly) recipes. Keeping you both in my prayers.
