I did it! I DID IT! All by myself. Lots of news.

 I am back!

We had a serious health issue in our family in October. I neglected posting on my blog. I was busy with my loved one. When I tried to return to blogging, somehow a password or sign in code had been changed. I can't begin to describe my frustration level over the past weeks that turned into months. Thanks to Kim Lehnhoff for trying her best to retrieve my blog. When even the pros like Kim couldn't figure it out.... I cried for days. Tried every possible password daily to no avail. I shed lots of angry tears.

Today I am crying happy tears. I did it all by myself. The solution was so easy. Why do we worry ourselves silly? Complicate the issue by making it much bigger than what it is? I am grateful.

My story, Something's Bufgging Me! is coming out in the spring in an upcoming Chicken Soup for the Soul book. Details soon. This will be 32 CSS books my stories appear in across the world and read in many languages. I am so happy to be a part of the CSS team of writers.

Christmas 2021 was one of our best. Bill and I visited each of our children instead of having a houseful in our small home. I love having all of the family at once, but Covid concerns prevented it this year. We enjoyed ourselves so much being able to spend individual time with each family.

I have not babysat our great grandsons since before Christmas. Charlie and Alex will be returning next week and I will have them on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Their daddy has been Mr. Mom since being furloughed from his job more than a year ago. He has been called back and starts Monday. Lots of changes coming. I promise to post again soon.

Linda, so glad you figured out how to get back to blogging. I never even thought of that, cause when I took a break for about 6 months, it was still there, but my daughters posted in my absence, so that might be why. What great news about your story coming out in CSS. That's wonderful. Sounds like you had a nice Christmas, and you got to see the little ones. They always bring happiness to our hearts. Your friend came through for you in retrieving your blog, that was great of her to do that for you.

I hope the new year brings you so many good things, Linda.

Congratulations on your successes-both fixing the technology glitch and homing a new CS story! I must say, technology can be one of the most patience-testing items on the planet.

Doing the happy dance for you, Linda! And congrats on another CS acceptance! I'd love to read more info about your blog and password problems and how you fixed them. I understand how upset you were. We have spent years on our blogs, writing about the love of our families, our friends, our writing, our other hobbies, etc. Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

CONGRATULATIONS, Linda. Isn't it great when we figure out things on our own? Happy about the story coming out in the spring, too! Wonderful news. Losing our ability to blog is no fun. It feels like a huge loss. But now you have the victory! YAYYYYYYYYY.

It's so good to see you back online! Maybe we'll see how those boys have grown while we weren't watching.
