Is it an ending or beginning?

Summer is coming to an end, and fall is right around the bend.

Alex and Charlie had fun at the pool, but now it's time for back to school.
We are having excellent mornings learning in Pre K, and we go outside every day.

I packed away the water toys, beach towels, and pool. Then Mother Nature went off the deep end... and so much for COOL!

Yesterday should have been 80 but was 97 degrees. The boys said, "Nana, Nana, water PLEASE?"

They chalked the drive way, their trikes, legs, and knees!

Which is your favorite season? And what is your reason?

Spring! I love watching everything come to life. I am anxious to see all my hard wrk of this year reappear next Spring.

I would say Fall is my favorite season. It's the weather that decides it for me. Spring is fickle, summer is hot, winter is cold. Fall has the right, moderate weather that favorably affects my mood.

I like both spring and fall, because the moderate weather is such a relief after winter/summer extremes.

Poetry is a delight to hear. I've always enjoyed it, especially the ones that have a rhyme. Sounds like the kids had a great Summer. I hope they have a good school year.

Fall is my favorite season. Nature is so pretty, and it seems to be a still season, showing its beauty with colored leaves, pumpkins, apples, and cooler weather.

Love the poem! Not loving the hot spell, but cooler temps (and heads) will prevail.

That pool definitely looks like a place to have fun! As for seasons, my favorite is fall, for the snap in the air, the smell of fallen leaves, high school football and marching bands.

I love Fall! Winter is cold, Spring is fickle and summer is too hot - and too much work to do! Oh, to be young and carefree again.

Whatever season we're in, after a bit of getting used to it I like it. Spring, summer autumn are made for poetry, so is winter, with the exception of November and January. Even February here shows signs of returning life in nature. I dislike the darkest months when I cannot easily get out and my mood swings to low and sometimes despondent. Right now, I know that the darkness is coming but I am pretending I can cope.
