Crazy drivers

"Women drivers!" You've heard guys say that, or perhaps you've heard old timers complain, "Dang, young, whipper snapper drivers!" Teenagers complain about senior citizen drivers. I've even mumbled a time or two, "If you can't drive it, park it!"

Maybe it's the heat that makes drivers sluggish or impulsive, short-tempered and hot headed. I don't know. I do know that there were a lot of drivers out today that should have been PEDESTRIANS.

It is early in the season to be worn by heat...but it was hot here today, hotter tomorrow!! I have to say that on our deck, under trees it was pleasant most of the day. We read and drank iced tea and loafed quite a bit! I hope you can do the same this weekend and that you can stay off the streets. :)

Hi Claudia,
There was a power outage that affected 42 buildings including my work, so school was dismissed at noon. But oh the drivers were wild and crazy everywhere today. Glad you could sit in the shade. Sounds wonderful Tomorrow I am reading poetry at a writer's guild event at The Missouri Botanical Gardens. That should be relaxing.

I just finished a poem about flowers which I will read at the Garden tomorrow. Should be fun.
