At a loss

I am heartsick over Ukraine and broken hearted by comments and opinions about gas pipelines, high food prices, and whomever/whatever the perceived blame for this war.

This is real loss of innocent lives, all in the name of power. Blaming or praising world leaders for being weak or powerful? PLEASE!

I believe in the power of prayer.

Linda, when I was reading your post, I automatically thought about the wonderful Jimi Hendrix quote. It is beautiful, and one of my favorites. Then, I scrolled down, and saw that you shared it. It's so sad what's happening right now, and you chose a perfect quote to share this morning.

Linda,

A fellow blogger in Ukraine: https://cvetochnymir.blogspot.com/

She has been posting about what is happening nearby. You may need to use Google Translate. Many people she knew left, but she stayed.

It is indeed tragic. This morning I watched a news video of a man who sent his children with someone--she took them over the border to meet their mom--because he was of an age to serve as a soldier (and was not allowed to leave the country). It was heartbreaking.

I have a relative who is Ukranian, and lived part of his childhood in a concentration camp. I know he is heartsick...

It is most horrible to think how one person can cause the agony, suffering, and, in some cases, death of so many people, all in the name of power and ego. My heart breaks a million times a day, especially when I see the faces of little innocent children. May God help us all.
