Playing in a winter wonderland

We had a white Christmas; it was a wet, heavy, 4 inch snow. The road crews had the main streets cleared, but the ground was covered, which made the young and young at heart very happy. I told the grandkids that I wanted a photo of them in the snow, and then Grandpa said, "Get Nana!" Oh yeah, there was laughter and squeals (mostly mine) and we made memories to last another year.

Nicole wanted to make a snowman, but the snow was too cold for her little hands, so she made a a snow bush. Was she ever proud!

Looks like a lot of fun at your house, Linda. Dry here thankfully...son and granddog just headed out on 4 hour drive west so dry roads are blessing here. Your snow looked like just enough for a good play! Enjoy the coming week off...

Hi everyone,
It is so much fun having a little one around at Christmas. The big kids were all involved with their electronic devices (bought by their parents). This is one day of the year that I treasure. Thanks for stopping by.

I hope you keep the winter photo of you on your blog, at least until the weather and ground get more spring-y. It's a great one.

I also love the snow bush. Your granddaughter is an inventive kiddo!

Hi Sioux,
Thanks. Spring can't get here soon enough, though.
